Project: eBizCard B2B Portal

Role: UI/UX Designer

Focus: Corporate Staff Card Issuance & Recruitment Optimization

Overview

Overview

This project is about a B2B side of eBizCard or also known as digital business card. More detail about this project cannot be disclose as it has not yet fully developed and under nda. But, I can show you in interview if needed.

Objectives

Objectives

This project aims to assist employers in issuing cards for their staff and simplifying the recruitment process for recruiters. The issued cards, which can also be digital business cards, facilitate the exchange of work-related information and streamline the recruitment process, making it more efficient than using traditional physical business cards. Additionally, this initiative enhances networking by allowing individuals to easily exchange contact information and details about their work experience during events.

The Challenge: Transitioning from Physical to Digital

The Challenge: Transitioning from Physical to Digital

The core challenge was to design a digital system that replaces the centuries-old habit of using physical business cards while adding value for corporate entities.

  • Scalability: Designing a flow where an employer can issue hundreds of cards simultaneously without a complex learning curve.

  • Recruitment Friction: Traditional networking often leads to lost physical cards or manual data entry; the digital version needed to automate this process.

  • Information Architecture: Balancing a "management" interface for employers with a "networking" interface for the staff.

My Approach: User-Centric Research & Mapping

My Approach: User-Centric Research & Mapping

My approach relied heavily on establishing a solid research foundation to ensure the interface addressed real-world pain points:

  • User Discovery: Conducted deep-dive interviews and established detailed user personas to understand the specific needs of HR managers and recruiters.

  • Structure Planning: Sketched comprehensive site maps to visualize the user journey from account setup to card distribution.

  • Industry Benchmarking: Researched existing digital card applications to identify gaps in B2B-specific features like bulk management and payment integration.

Design Decisions & Implementation

Design Decisions & Implementation

As a UI/UX project, I focused on creating a clean, professional dashboard (as seen in the laptop mockups) to facilitate administrative tasks:

  • Management Dashboard: Implemented a "Manage Card Issuance" interface that allows employers to view staff card statuses at a glance.

  • Visual Card Customization: Designed a card design module where companies can maintain brand consistency across all employee digital cards.

  • Seamless Payment Integration: Developed a user flow for payment gateways to handle bulk subscriptions or issuance fees directly within the portal.

  • Recruitment Efficiency: Optimized the UI to prioritize the exchange of work experience details, making the recruitment process significantly faster than using physical cards.

Outcomes & Results
